Beginner's Help

Hey, I'm just getting into magic, and I don't want to dive into buying books or courses until I know I'm truly committed. So, I was wondering what the best free content is to start with.

Hey! I wanted to share some channels I use frequently. You'll find a ton of information there, from techniques to effects, and even some theory. You'll likely see the same effect on multiple channels, which is great because you'll get to see different ways to present it. What I also like is that they first show the effect, and then they teach you how to do it. (That's awesome because you'll get to experience the wonder yourself, and that way, not only will you be dying to learn it, but you'll also have a better idea of what the spectator will feel, since you've already been through it!)

Any magic channel will do, but I recommend Julio Ribera's channel and Domina la Magia; they offer content for all skill levels. Once you've been at it for some time, buy some books and join an academy. I'm currently attending Ana Tamariz's Grand Magic School. But if you're truly serious about making a career and earning money in magic, I'd recommend you stop watching exposed magic on YouTube, simply because if you learn bad technique, it will be nearly impossible to break those habits later on.

Hello.

Here's the last course I took:

I can guarantee that if you're consistent and disciplined, in just 3 months you'll not only pick up some solid card magic but also gain a lot of insight into what it takes to be a magician in general.

Cheers,
