I challenge all of you to create your own trick. I've already come up with one, though I haven't named it yet.
You've got my support!

😊
I've created many of my own tricks...or so I thought...until you find out that what you "created"...someone else already had the idea, created it, and is even selling it! 😊
That happened to me, for example, with this one:
I knew nothing about this magician or his trick.
When I got serious about magic, one of the first things that obsessed me was 'Torn and Restored,' and through references from the few gaff card creation videos I followed on YouTube back then (English and Russian channels).
I came up with this trick myself and performed it many times until I found out (because another buddy bought it) that this trick had already been on the market for years and wasn't "my invention."
My friend was really annoyed because he practically paid for something I had already explained to him! 😅.
And that's how it goes, theory11 is still selling the product for about 50 dollars on their site, and the product is 10 years old, and obviously, they have every right to.
But since I also consider it MINE (I discovered it before I knew it existed), I haven't held ANYTHING back from sharing it with close magician friends.
You know what happens...unfortunately, you're NEVER the first...unless you patent it! 🤣 🤣 🤣
My advice: name it, shoot a video, upload the video to YouTube (with copyright), and then it WILL BE YOUR TRICK. Plus, you can show it to all of us 😊 and not leave us hanging, wondering what it is.
Cheers and good magic to all!!!
It's getting easier and easier to create and market something from anywhere in the world.
Others will decide whether the idea is worth paying for or not.
One way you could protect your inventions is by registering them with Safe Creative:

Stay tuned!
So, what is it?
Feel free to share it so we can all learn!
But of course... first, we've got to name it, we need to christen it!
Cheers,
I've put together a simple, yet fantastic, magic trick using these techniques: cull, Ascanio's Spread (including a modified version), Double Lift, and the Glide. It's really convincing and well-structured.
But it won't let me send the video.
If you have any ideas on how I can do it, please let me know.
You can upload it to YouTube and share the link.
For example:
How do I do that with my Gmail account?
Off the top of my head... Once you're signed into your Google account, if you go to YouTube and click 'Upload video' (top right, I believe), it should be right there.
Worst case, if you're logged into your Google/Gmail account, search for YouTube Studio, and it should be pretty intuitive to find it there.
