The 3rd Parque de Atracciones de Madrid Magic Festival
Hey everyone. I decided to share some info about this festival because I don't think it's been discussed in the club. It features various magic shows spread throughout the park that you can go and check out. Before I get to the current edition, I'll talk a bit about the previous ones. The Parque de Atracciones de Madrid Magic Festival debuted in 2022, where for two days in May (May 1st and 2nd, if I remember correctly) magic filled the park. The first edition featured Patri Zenner, Héctor Sansegundo, Víctor Cerro, and Sasha the magician. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend this one in person, but I did watch their videos, which I think are available on YouTube. For the second edition, the shows were revamped and expanded. It also ran for more days, from April 22nd to May 7th. The magicians who performed were Cliff The Magician, Víctor Cerro, Héctor Sansegundo, Dania Díaz, Lebart, and Jorge Blass. This edition was amazing, and I think it's the best one so far (among the few they've had 😅) Héctor Sansegundo's show, in particular, really blew me away. And now we come to the third edition, which runs until May 26th. This one features Patri Zenner, Francis Zafrilla, Jean Philippe, Bruno Tarnecci, and Raúl Alegría. I've enjoyed this edition even more because at the street shows, you could chat with the magicians afterward and take a picture, and of course, I took advantage of that! I don't want to give away too much more because I'd rather you experience it yourselves, since you can both watch the shows and enjoy the rides. I just hope these festivals continue for many more years, as they're incredible and bring magic closer to people who leave the shows wanting to see more. I think I've gone on a bit long, sorry 😅, but I believe it's interesting since it's not a widely known event. Cheers everyone 🪄

So, I'm hoping someone can recommend a magic show (close-up, even better) that I can catch in Madrid this Sunday, the 9th.
Ideally, I'm looking to spend this weekend seeing some more "underground" magic—nothing big or with well-known magicians. I'd rather see "newbies" and less established folks.
And heck, if anyone here has a show, I'll swing by and check it out ;-)

Long live Magic!

Some friends asked me to come to their wedding (in Ávila proper) in July and put on about an hour-long show, plus some close-up magic at the guests' tables.
But I'm incredibly lazy, so if anyone's interested, contact me privately, and I'll send you the couple's contact info.
I don't know what they're paying or anything like that, just so you know, haha.

Hey everyone!
From May 1st to 4th, and then on Saturdays and Sundays until May 18th, you can enjoy the 4th Magic Festival at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid. Personally, it's a festival I really enjoy because it's what got me into magic and started me on my path to becoming a magician, so it's very special to me.
You can check out previous editions of the festival in various YouTube videos and in another thread I created in this very Club.
This year features an incredibly interesting lineup with shows by David Navares, Karim, Shado, Karlus Soler, and Carlos Adriano. Plus, there's a big magic gala (Shado and Karim seem to be alternating, so if one is there, the other probably won't be that day – be sure to check the show schedules!).
There's also a gala at the auditorium theater featuring Inmagic, Mad Edgard, and Andy González. And it will be hosted by Luis Larrodera.
I encourage everyone who can make it to go, because it's a day you'll spend watching shows by some amazing magicians. Plus, usually at the street shows, you can often chat with them afterward.
Finally, this year I believe they've added a Magic School, where I assume they'll teach a couple of tricks to the kids. So if any of you have kids you want to get hooked on this art and eventually pass down all your materials and books to, you should bring them along, LOL.
Magical regards,

This week's pick: magician Leandro at Grada Mágica.
I'm Leandro, a Uruguayan magician who uses magic as a tool to create memorable experiences with a fun, approachable style that challenges the norms of traditional magic.
This show doesn't just blend humor and amazement; it also tugs at the audience's heartstrings, creating an emotional connection that goes beyond just magic tricks.
A unique experience, where magic isn't just seen, it's felt.
