Hi, I'm Perato, and I'm new to the world of magic!
Right now, I'm just constantly buying new props and practicing a lot of moves without really focusing. I see I need to slow down. I'd really appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Hey there and welcome!!!
@PERATO:
That's a total classic for many magicians, especially when you're starting out (and in the end, you don't even use half of it 😅).
@PERATO:
😊, (just like I always did).
And now I'll give you a piece of advice I don't even take myself 😂 (well, I didn't..., I've been in magic for about 10 years now, and now I do).
If you have any questions, just ask.
Have a great day!!!
Thanks a lot, José Luis. I'll definitely follow your advice.
Welcome! Before you keep buying, I'd recommend you really figure out what you like. When it comes to techniques, take it step by step and make sure you nail the basics, because without those, the others won't do you any good. Like @Zeta mentioned, I'm still learning to this day myself. That's what's great about magic: the never-ending learning! All the best, and if you need anything, we're here!
Good morning, everyone, and welcome! I wholeheartedly agree that it's far better to have a few polished techniques than many half-baked ones. If we try to use them and mess up, it really backfires on us!
A lot of the common techniques we learn when we first start out, we mistakenly believe that because they're simple, they won't achieve anything great. But we couldn't be more wrong! A solid presentation, combined with a simple technique that's been mastered to perfection, can create a truly fabulous effect!
Greetings from Uruguay
Thanks so much, everyone, for all your tips. I'll definitely put them to good use, and I hope to show you some progress down the road. Thanks for your interest.
