Does anyone know what the Anti-Mnemonic is?

Hey everyone, does anyone know how to do this trick? What's the Anti-Mnemonic and how do you use it? I've been researching it, but I'm not getting anywhere. Can anyone help me out?

I've only found this routine with that concept...

Here's the original video if you want to check it out; it's a routine by Miquel.

First off, I've got to say:

MAN, US MAGICIANS REALLY KNOW HOW TO LIE!!!!1

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

  • A chaotic and unpredictable shuffle?..., (Yeah, right, buddy... what else?)
  • And a completely shuffled deck... (Sure, and I've got a bridge to sell you.)
  • You finish the shuffle and cut... (Whew, we've disorganized ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! 😊)
  • Completely randomized (to the spectator's eyes)

It's THE SAME as MNEMONICA, but using other principles (algorithms) to add a layer of confusion.

We could say it's his own version of MNEMONICA created by him.

Note:

Before starting with this or trying to learn it, you should begin with Juan Tamariz's MNEMONICA to understand the concepts, and from there you can jump to other MNEMONICAS like this one.

I totally skipped Juan Tamariz's (Mnemonica) – didn't realize that was the one to learn first, haha. The anti-mnemonica really grabbed my attention, and I went straight into that instead. But I'm super curious, do you know where I can get Juan Tamariz's Mnemonica, or if it's from a book, which one is it?

This is an effect created by Miquel Roma.

It's primarily used to find out a spectator's card without ever having to touch it, see it, or Control it.

That's just one of many effects.

That's the simplest thing you can do with a mnemonic or anti-mnemonic stack.

It's very similar to a mnemonic stack; there are some great tricks and routines in the book Sinfonía en Mnemónica Mayor, by Juan Tamariz. The book is a gem; it usually runs about 100€, but I got it for less since I was a student at Ana Tamariz's Gran Escuela. I highly recommend picking it up; if you're a beginner or have only been doing magic for a couple of years, I wouldn't recommend it, as it's quite advanced.

Actually, the anti-mnemonica isn't a memorized deck; it's a stacked one. That's an important distinction, which is why it's named that way, since it's not a mnemonica.

The anti-mnemonica is one of those Faro sequences where you can go from one card to another through a particular operation, though I can't quite recall which one. In a way, it's similar to a Si Stebbins stack.

Okay, thanks. What's the deal with the anti-Faro, and where can I find it? I've seen it mentioned a few times in the book.
