Amazing Card Trick

Hey everyone, I've been doing magic for about 5 years now, and I was absolutely blown away when I saw a trick by streamer and YouTuber "Rickyedit". The trick is from this video segment: https://youtu.be/aR27KoygnVk?si=Dnr4V02VggoL0hLR&t=878, I mean, I have my suspicions, but I just can't quite grasp the principle behind it. Does anyone know how to perform it and have any tips to make it look so clean?

Thanks in advance everyone :)

It's a simple trick that's based on staying a step ahead. You have the deck already shuffled. At one point, you secretly glimpse the very bottom card, and when you do the spread, you know exactly where it is. After that, you ask the first spectator to touch the card you saw (the one you glimpsed). When they touch it, you pick it up and show it, just like in the video. Then, you ask the next spectator to touch the card the previous person already selected, and so on. When the last spectator has made their selection and you've seen it, you announce that you're going to take their card (the last spectator's card), but in reality, you take the card you glimpsed at the very beginning and have kept track of in the spread.

I love that trick! I performed it yesterday in class for some buddies, and the reactions were incredible. I think it's one of my favorites.
