Digital Force Bag App + Invisible Deck?
Hey everyone! I recently watched several videos where a magician asks two people to think of two numbers and add them up. Then, he pulls up a list on his phone's notes, and the total number reveals a playing card. After that, he brings out a deck, and that specific card is found face-up. Does anyone know the name of this routine?
I get that it could be a forced card, but I don't know all the specifics, and it also works with a list of animals.
Thanks so much for the help!!!! 💪🏻😁

Could it have been Craig Petty that you saw? He really likes that app and uses it in almost all his close-up shows. Sometimes he uses an Invisible Deck and combines it with the DFB.
Asks a spectator to name a two-digit number
Shows a list of celebrities where the chosen number corresponds to Tom Cruise.
Asks for another number, or creates a playing card based on decisions from multiple spectators.
Brings out the deck and shows all the cards are face down, except for the chosen card.
He turns it over, and on the back is written "Tom Cruise".
The method is pretty obvious, I think, and it combines the app with the deck. Typically, what we're after is for the phone interaction to be incidental, and the important part to be the card selection. In other words, the celebrity match is just a kicker for the main trick.
I do something similar (inspired by a suggestion from Craig Petty that he doesn't perform himself, but I've put into practice) with another effect called "On target," which never quite sold me on its own, but this way it becomes a miracle.
The original routine: You choose a card from a blue deck, then check through another red deck, and it's precisely the one that's missing. And the back of the card is red, even though it was found in the blue deck. It's pretty bland, but by adding the DFB app, you elevate it to the stratosphere.
The added touch: At the start, you have the spectator pick a celebrity from a list and hold it in their mind. You have them choose a card from the blue deck, take out the red deck, and confirm the card isn't there. You flip over the red deck, and each card has a celebrity's name on its face, but the one the spectator picked isn't among them. The spectator turns over their card, and not only is it the only one missing and red, but it also has the name of the celebrity they chose written on it. Boom! Plus, it's examinable.
If you can, check out Craig Petty's live shows on Penguin and the Vanishing masterclass, where he gives you many ideas for using that app organically.
I don't know the name of the routine, but it might be a combination of using a magic app + the Invisible Deck?

Hey there, I've got a really old version of Digital Force Bag, and one of the lists I have set up is a shuffled poker deck.
Since the app always forces the card you want, you don't need an Invisible Deck; you just leave the deck already set up with the card turned over.
I hadn't thought of that, but I'll try it at home with my daughter to see what she thinks!
Cheers!
P.S. Yesterday I performed it at home for my wife first, and then my daughter, and it totally blew them away!! Simple yet super effective – what a killer trick!!
It could be an app called "digital force bag." It's a paid app, and it lets you Force anything using your phone's notes.
Regards,
Yep, that's the app. But when applied to that game, it really limits its potential.
We've discussed the app here:

Hey everyone, I have two options: a digital force bag or an Invisible Deck.
