Magic App Help

Hey everyone, I just watched this video. If anyone can tell me the name of the app or offer any help, I'd really appreciate it.

Hey there @ElSergio02

First off (my VERY personal opinion), I'd tell you to forget about these 'piffling little tricks' that are nothing more than pure theater.

It's the typical trick that, if you pay for it, even a newborn baby could do, or a trained monkey.

YES, it's magic..., but it's magic with technology (which, by the way, borders on illegal).

Therefore, and I repeat...from my point of view, it's pretty useless.

In fact, I could bring up a few problems with those apps, which is why they simply WOULDN'T WORK.

For instance, they take for granted that everyone has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on, and if you simply have those off, you've already messed up the trick for the magician (who paid a fortune for an app they won't be able to use).

And don't even get me started on what happens if I deliberately use an interference emitter on their frequency band; then nothing will work for them. Because if you know what it is, there are many ways to mess things up.

For years, I've been telling people that if they're not using it, they should ALWAYS turn off both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In fact, I never ever have Bluetooth on, and my Wi-Fi is only active at home... so the effect wouldn't work on me.

After all that rambling, I'll tell you that the app you're looking for is HACKED – APPMAZING and it costs around 75€ (plus another 100€ if you want control via FP).

I mean, with money, you can do a lot of things,

but I believe you can do a lot more, and better, without spending a dime.

Cheers!!!

Hey everyone! I've been reading the thread, and while I don't know the name of that specific routine, there's an effect called LUMEN from Ellusionist (iPhone only) that has the same principles and only costs €20: It lets you control a borrowed phone's flashlight without needing any apps.

I'm not sure how good it actually is because I don't own the effect, just sharing the info, but it seems really similar to Ricky's effect.

I'm pretty fond of these types of magic effects; personally, they blow my mind, and spectators love them too. I get that some people disagree, but I see it as a new branch of magic you can always have on you, and it moves away from "The Linking Rings" and "Cups And Balls" which are fantastic effects, but a lot of people are familiar with them.

I'd love if you guys could share other apps like the one mentioned in an earlier post and where to get them (legally), ideally at an affordable price.

Thanks a ton!!!

The app is RLight, and you'll need the Virtuoz gimmick from Ellusionist to recreate the trick.

To each their own, but I personally love digital magic and card magic. On the other hand, productions, vanishes, and things like that aren't really my cup of tea because I find them too obvious and not very "magical." But I definitely admire the people who practice and perfect them!!

Lately, I've been watching Ricky's tricks – he's really into tech magic – and he does this one trick where his phone vibrates on command without him even touching it. That's the RTouch app, and just so you know, it's free.

Anyway, there are so many tricks and types of magic out there for everyone to find their niche and show off their skills. I'm obsessed with digital magic, and while it definitely has its limitations and can be pricey, it gets incredible reactions and offers tons of advantages if you know how to perform it well!!!

As always, here's my opinion (not that it's worth much 😄):

Mmmm, it's a gimmick...., a "real bargain"..., €260 (being ironic, of course).

That seems excessive for an amateur,

or even for anyone if you're not getting paid to perform magic.

Obviously, Ricky, (who I only know because you post about him here),

is a YouTuber above all else and constantly needs to expand his repertoire (and always, and always, and always, etc. into infinity.....).

For him, spending €260 is like pocket change for any mortal.

It's an investment in his business model, which is fine.

Simply put, and I repeat, I'm an electrician, electronics technician, and IT specialist,

for me, this is what it is: a very nice, very expensive gadget that does everything for you.

(*And which I could easily make myself,

or just wait for the cheaper Chinese knock-off to come out 😂*)

If you have the money, go for it.

Info breaking down the gadget:

I need RTouch, where can I download it?

I can't find it either. If you could send me the download link or the app link, I'd appreciate it.

Hey @roik. Can you send me the link for the vibration app? I can't find it on the Play Store.
