How to Vanish a Card from the Deck
Hey everyone!
For an upcoming show, I'm planning to have the card a spectator selects (via a force) appear inside a completely sealed package.
My problem is I don't know how to make the chosen card truly vanish from the deck, so that when the spectator checks it, they won't find it – making them really believe the card "teleported" to the package.
Can anyone help me?

Another less technical way to do this is to put a bit of double-sided tape on the top card. After the force, pick up the spectator's card and place it on top, pressing down a bit (it will stick to the top card). Then you can do a cut to lose the card, and when you do a table spread, that card won't be visible.
Personally, I prefer the palm. This method is more for beginners, but it still works.
Hey there, @Emilia201011
Here's a simple, common approach:
Obviously, you'll need to have the move down, but I think it's the best way to steal a card (much easier than, for example, with Tamariz's TPC - Perpendicular Control).
Hey there;
How about palming the card and then pocketing it when you bring out the cased deck?
If it's a forced card, control it to the top or bottom of the deck, then palm it.
You can ditch the card as you introduce the cased deck, which is where the card will eventually appear.
Good luck
I really appreciate all the ideas!

Good luck!
There's also a gimmick you can make with two cards glued together, one shorter than the other (it's explained on Julio's channel). You'll need to practice your "timing." The great thing about it is that you can confidently hand the spectator the deck to search for their card, and they won't find it or stumble upon the secret (100% proven). You can also use the gimmick as a Key Card, because since it's two glued cards, you can easily locate it by touch (the spectator won't, but you will).
