Tips for a Kids' Show

I've got a kids' show coming up soon. I've done a few before, but I'd love to get some tips if anyone has any! 😃

Pablo,

We've already talked about this topic; I'm sure someone will send you the link so you can see all the suggestions.

As for me, I do a rope routine because the ropes are big, and kids can see them from a distance. I include The Teacher's Nightmare, a self-tying knot, cut and restored rope effects, and things like that.

And at the end, I hand out pieces of rope to everyone and teach them a simple trick.

This keeps them busy after the show, practicing the trick they learned.

Hope this suggestion helps.

Cheers

You should use tricks that are simple, impactful, and easy to understand. It's very likely that some kids might not be drawn to those tricks; if that happens, I recommend doing a trick where that child can participate, and something they actually want to see. For example, ask them if they want to see coin tricks, sponge balls, cards, etc. Generally, if you meet these conditions and the kids are over 8 years old, the shows usually go over very well. I hope these tips have been helpful.

Cheers!!!!
