What's the Trick or Move That Was Hardest for You to Master?
Name a trick that took you a while to learn or master. I'll kick things off: the Double Lift.

The Top Change.
Incredibly useful, perennially underrated, and ridiculously difficult to do correctly.
Raising my two kids 🤣
So, have you got it down yet? 😄
I wanted to give a two-word answer, but I have to write at least 20 characters to comment... Anyway, for me, the toughest technique has to be...
MISDIRECTION
Patience, know what I mean? 😉
That's a tough question; I'm not sure which one to pick.
I sometimes really struggle with the cull; the Top Change gave me a lot of grief, and so did bottom and second deals.
But probably the one I've worked on the most, or wanted to perfect the most, has been the Double Lift and its general handling (in spreads, placements, turns, etc.). So, the move I've spent the most time on to get it looking just right, I think, would have to be the Double Lift.
@MarioMerck:
You're referring to "moves"
Personally, I've always found diagonal/transverse passes tricky.
Like DPS, TPC, and one I really love doing, the Straddle Pass.
And even to this day (and I've been doing these passes for years), I have "good days and bad days" where sometimes they're perfectly fluid, and other times I avoid them because I fumble.
Since I'm just an amateur, I'm not always doing magic, and there are times when I barely practice.
You really notice it when you haven't performed moves for a while and then suddenly try to do them.
Even with muscle memory, you can lose your touch.
But like anything else;
Practice, practice, practice... take a break now and then, and repeat the cycle.
Using your pinky finger to count cards and establish a break.
The Pinky Count
Definitely the cull. I'm still working on it. I always get hung up on the card I'm trying to cull; I can't get it to flow smoothly. Guess I need to practice more.
The pinky count, hands down.
Well, for one, the Faro shuffle. I mean, I can hit it a lot of the time, but never 100%. A card or two will end up doubled up, and that totally screws the trick. And since you never know if it's going to bomb, I just don't use it.
