What's Your Favorite Trick?
For me, without a doubt, my favorite trick is the Invisible Deck because it's easy to master, and your audience will always be amazed, with no clue how you do it...

If we're talking gimmicks, I'd go with the Invisible Deck.
With a regular deck, I'll stick with TRIUMPH 😍
With a Svengali deck, you can even do a super ambitious card routine where the card travels or appears in another location. I think it's a great deck, even without doing the "all cards are the same" effect, since that's something a lot of laymen already know about. As for a regular deck, it's tough to say, but self-working or semi-automatic tricks are great for building confidence and developing your patter. There are so many out there, though, it's hard to pick just one; each has its own appeal, construction, and execution...
I'm not sure if it's my absolute favorite, but I really dig the 3 Card Monte, and especially an effect Dani DaOrtiz performed on Fool Us. In that routine, the spectator's card first appears on top of the card box, then they name another card, and that second card is found inside the box.
Well, I think I've said it a few times, but my favorite trick is Ribbon by Erick Chien. It simply captivated me, and I'm currently working on replicating it. I'm almost there, about 90% of the way.
But if we're talking about something a bit simpler, I love “The Princes That Never exists,” and I tend to perform it pretty often. It has a beautiful story plus a really interesting routine.
Invisible Deck and ACAAN are my favorites, but I'm also really into forces! 😁
