Camera Placement?
Hey, I've been uploading some card magic videos to Instagram, and I'm not sure where to position the camera so everything looks good (so both the deck and my hands are really clear and my pinky break doesn't flash).

Hey there... to put it generally... you need to position your camera and angle it exactly where a spectator's eyes would be looking.
Usually, it'll be a HIGH ANGLE or an OVERHEAD SHOT (depending on the type of effect and your specific needs, obviously).
For a NORMAL angle, you'll need to "break your wrist" and turn it forward so the spectator gets a clear view of the magic.
It's common to make the mistake of performing for yourself when you should be thinking about the spectator.
Also, there are magicians like the fantastic Jeki Yoo who use a LOW ANGLE or NADIR shot in some of their videos.
