Question about the Svengali
Hey everyone. I'm having a problem with my Svengali deck: sometimes when I do a Riffle Shuffle, a card slips out, and two short cards end up together. (This can happen repeatedly if I shuffle more than once and don't notice the cards have gotten out of order.) My question is: is there any technique to subtly re-set the deck in front of the spectators without them noticing?
Thanks in advance!

Hey, you could do it with a cull, for example.
Alternatively, if you'd rather not do a riffle shuffle, you're all set. If you perform an in-the-hands shuffle with the cards face up, in addition to showing they're all different, you won't get the short cards mixed up with the long ones. In the latter scenario, just cutting the deck several times, while also showing that "they're all different," is convincing enough.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
