A Dani Daortiz Effect

If you're interested, I'm sharing my handling of a Dani Daortiz effect, which he performs on Fool Us. His exact method isn't public, but here's how I do it: You Riffle through the cards, and when they say stop, have them memorize the bottom and top cards. You perform a Pass to control one card to the very bottom and the other to the very top. Before it looks like you're about to begin, and without drawing any attention to it, you palm off the top card and leave it on top of the card box, justifying it by saying you're setting it aside. Don't say anything or make a big deal out of it, and they won't either. What I do next is start dealing cards from the top until they say stop, making them believe their card will be at that exact position. When they see it's not there, I tell them it was actually on top of the card box. While they're looking, I palm off the bottom card and bring my hand to the card box, making a downward motion and releasing the card.
