First off, are we talking about eating it or biting it?

The effect would be different if you eat it and then make it reappear, versus biting it and then restoring it.

You mentioned the bitten coin, so assuming you want to do something similar, you've pretty much got the groundwork laid out.

The core concept is there. If you're familiar with how the bitten coin works (or the bitten Oreo or even the torn and restored card), you should already have a good idea of what to do, or at least where to start experimenting with your own designs.

The only thing to keep in mind is whether it will be an effect with your own credit card (and you can still use it to pay afterward – that would be awesome!), or with a borrowed one (in which case you'll really need to figure out the logistics, since there are so many different types of cards).

The first option is by far the simplest, easiest, and most convenient.

The second option is much more complicated, though it would be a stroke of genius if you could pull it off.
