Got Talent
Hey! I'm thinking about going on "Got Talent"
and I'd need a card effect to impress the judges and the audience (A gimmick would be okay)
Thanks in advance!
And may the magic be with you!😀

Hey there @B0rj9.
I'll try to answer you, though I don't think I can help much.
Full disclosure: *I'm not a fan of "Got Talent," but honestly, I haven't liked TV in general for years, and I don't watch any TV at all, even though I have plenty of screens 😅.
I do watch videos when you guys share them here, but that's about it.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm not the best person to advise you on this.*
Let me break down what you're saying:
@B0rj9:
If someone told me that, I'd think:
I say this because if you're going to participate, I assume there will be preliminary auditions to get on the show.
Lots of people will try out, and not everyone will be selected.
You'll need more material to perform and to work your way up before making it to the show.
(I'm speaking without much knowledge of the selection process; I'm just assuming it's something like this).
The thing is:
@B0rj9:
I don't think "a card effect" will be enough for you.
Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely not trying to discourage you; I'm just bringing up some things to consider.
Now, if anyone else wants to chime in with ideas, go for it.
And that's pretty much it.
Just want to give you a lot of encouragement if you're serious about this and going for it.
(And if you're not sure, and don't end up doing it, still, good luck keeping at it!)
Note: *You have to be careful. Legend has it that Risto does his research on magic.
And if he happens to see this forum... he might know if someone gives you an idea or suggests an effect,*
he'll know about it :slight_smile:.
If you're part of the school, I highly recommend checking out Professor Leandro Furtado's performance style, since he appeared on Got Talent twice.
All the best!
Okay, thanks a lot! I learned the single red card trick from Leandro, I love it!
