No, I think it would break on the first pull. To me, it seems more fragile than regular invisible thread. Plus, it's more expensive. I have a spool of white invisible thread and another colored one, and it's super cheap.
Overall, if I had to pick one thing from Mesika, it would be the wax. It's excellent; it softens up quickly and hardens just as fast.
Otherwise, the loops are obviously amazing (even though they're Finn Jon's, who also taught Gaetan Bloom), but they're very expensive. The Tarántula and Spider Pen X are excellent motorized ITRs (and their price tag reflects that), but the thread always gives out, constantly snapping. That's something that has always driven me crazy with those devices. The reel system they come with is also frustratingly incompatible with others on the market.
So, basically, the main issue with Mesika is the thread, which is why you shouldn't use it. It's pricey and pretty bad; in my experience, it snaps all the time.
But the ideas, the routines, and the tutorials are very good and can be utilized; they're full of fantastic concepts. You have much more resistant thread options on the market, both elastic and invisible, and you should probably use those with his devices.
The Static Marker is another story. I seem to recall the tutorial explained how to make it, and it definitely didn't use invisible elastic thread. You can use elastic fishing line, which is much cheaper and stronger.
It's very fragile; it would snap right away if you just pulled on it, since it needs to be taut to achieve its purpose, and that tension is far greater than what invisible threads can handle, at least the ones I'm familiar with. The thread it uses is the same as for making flap cards, among other gimmicks. I use the elastic invisible knitting thread. I found it in craft stores. M&C used to carry it, but I looked and couldn't find it, or maybe I just didn't know how to search for it.🔎
Loops are definitely not recommended for performing with your Staticmarker.
Actually, if you need to repair it, the pouch your Staticmarker comes in also includes some stronger invisible threads, better suited for the gimmick. (They're the same threads used for the flaps.)
You'll also need a needle. But if you bought it with the Street Magic (Ta falta calle) kit, since you'll have access, here's the link to the repair tutorial: Repairing Staticmarker - Magic and Cardistry Course
In short, I recommend you use the thread that comes in the pouch. And don't worry, it's super discreet if you hide it well when performing the trick.

GOOD LUCK!😊
Awesome, I managed to fix it with the threads we use for flaps, and it's working great now. Glad I could get it repaired. Thanks!
