LA and Vegas Street Magic🪄
Hey everyone! I'm currently at the airport, waiting to head to Los Angeles and Las Vegas!!!
I've got a ton of plans for these next two weeks; here's the scoop: I'm going to see Copperfield on the 21st!! And I'm also planning on snagging some decks from the Las Vegas casinos.
But the biggest and RISKIEST thing 😂 is that I'm going to try doing some Street Magic with the few props I managed to bring. These include a deck of cards (which goes a long way), 5 half-dollar coins to do some coin sleights, 2 extra cards for the French Kiss, and four cards for the Phantom Joker routine.
Not many items, but a lot of magic.
I'll keep you all updated so you know how everything goes!!
May the magic be with you.

I'd recommend checking out Penn & Teller's Fool Us. I'm not sure how registration works or if you can even sign up anymore, but I'm just putting it out there. Also, the quantity of tricks isn't what matters. As magician Italo Castillo says, if you're out doing street magic, pick one trick (and maybe two more in case they ask) and perform that same trick for different people. That way, not only will they not know you only have a few tricks up your sleeve, but you can also really refine your technique and patter to perfect the trick as much as possible.
Let me know if that doesn't make sense.
Cheers,
Thanks a lot, @OierAgirresarobe! I'm not sure how the Fool Us thing works either, but I'd absolutely love that.
And thanks for the street magic tips too; because even though that's what I usually do, I think it's a really great piece of advice for those who aren't familiar with it, because I think it's super important.
