This "Card Magic Vol. 1" by W. Ciuro, the first part breaks down techniques and theory—about half the book. The rest covers all sorts of tricks using a regular deck (if you're feeling adventurous, Volume 2 is all about gimmicked decks), and there's a ton of material (almost 700 pages!).
It costs less than $50 and you can find it via the link shared in the magic books section.
