Stage Magic: What Do You Recommend?

What effects do you perform on large stages? What do you recommend I learn for a big audience? Please, if anyone has any suggestions or ideas, share them. And if possible, I'm looking for effects that spectators can see clearly from the back of the stage without needing screens or cameras.

Hey everyone! Here are all the ideas that have been discussed in the Telegram group regarding this topic.

Context: performing magic for about 200 people who are at a distance and won't be able to see small details.

  • The Fishing Card
  • Rope routine
  • 3 Card Monte with jumbo cards
  • You have The Ever-Present Six, Repetition, Poker Test, Ring Through Wand....
  • Silk tricks
  • Card to Orange
  • Cups and Balls routines
  • The Robbers
  • El Cumanés
  • Telepathic Waves (Tamariz)
  • Trilogy
  • The Four Card Game (Woody Aragón, Memorandum)

And another one by Tamariz:

Quick question, do you have a tutorial for Tamariz's Sympathetic Cards (the last one you put on the list)?

Thanks

Thanks so much, I'll check out all the effects.

I always perform Juan Tamariz's Total Coincidence. There are good tutorials on YouTube.

Hey there,

What a coincidence, I was just about to ask the same thing, but I saw your post and didn't want to duplicate it. I also need stage card tricks, and like you mentioned, I'm looking for effects that an audience member in the back row can clearly see.

Since I'm doing a short mini-show, I only need one or two more tricks because I've already got three:

Fun Prediction:

Card Becomes Giant:

A Solid Invisible Deck

Thanks!

Not sure if this helps, but I did a small show pretty recently, and Juan Tamariz's "Always Six" always left everyone completely blown away.
