Choosing the Queen: He places it on top of the packet, takes the card the spectator selects, places it on top, and performs a Double Lift. They made it easier for him the second time around. Now, how does the magician know which Queen it is so he can find it again after the shuffle? I assume it's marked (and if he doesn't know any other method, this one might still work for us, lol).

That trick with the cards in the boxes: 🤯

That's a killer!

Here's what I've noticed:

  • To allow the selection, he uses the same deck (there's a moment when he makes a deck switch).
  • What's also interesting are the restrictions on the selection (no face cards, one red and one black).
  • Then there's a moment where he brings his hands out from under the table, holding the cards. This could be the moment he produces the "selected" cards (which were almost certainly forced).
  • The cards could already be in the boxes beforehand (so they wouldn't be noticed).

I think the key to pulling this off is successfully forcing the cards (hint: Al Koran).

Thanks.

Yeah, the box is what's really blowing my mind. It's gotta have some kind of hidden interior, a false bottom, or some gimmick.
