Color Changing Knives
Hey,
I want to start learning and performing magic with Color Changing Knives. Can you tell me where to begin?
I've been looking into them, but there aren't many available, and they're pretty pricey.
Which ones should I get?

As far as I know, there's Ascanio's book " [Knives and Color Blindness (The Magic of the Knives)] " and I think there was another one, but I can't recall it. Otherwise, try searching on YouTube; I think there might be something there too (though not much, to my knowledge).
As others have mentioned, you'll find the foundation in Ascanio's "Navajas y daltonismo." You can find more techniques in books like Sonata, or Juan Tamariz's Cartas Vol. 1. Also, Elmsley's Vol. 1 includes a routine with knives.
I believe there's more out there; I recall some notes from Juan Luis Rubiales...
However, while digging into the subject, I've stumbled upon some really comprehensive references that I'll be using myself, too:

Regarding the knives, back in the 80s and 90s, you could find pocketknives in cutlery stores that were modifiable, but now it's tougher, and you usually have to go to magic manufacturers, which tends to be pricey. I've made a few sets myself and I'm exploring other options. If you're interested, hit me up privately and we can see what we can figure out.
Thanks a lot, I'll check out Ascanio's book.
