Okkkk, I get it.

So you took a nickel, drilled a hole in it that was a bit smaller than a penny.

Then you polished the penny so it would fit into that hole.

So far, so good.

And now you've put the question out there, hoping someone might have an idea or know of anything similar.

I'm guessing you've already cooked up something yourself and are just testing the waters to see if your idea already exists or if you've truly created something new.

Honestly, I can't think of any coin trick like that.

If I had to invent something, nothing really compelling comes to mind either.

  • Make a nickel appear to change its denomination to a penny, and then directly transform it into a penny???
  • Make a nickel produce four pennies, show that it's now a penny, and then transform it into a penny?

Sorry I can't be more help.

Maybe someone else will come up with something.

Cheers, and good magic to you!!!

Hey there @Andreu3!

First off, welcome to the community.

Honestly, I'm not sure what kind of use I'd get out of what I'm seeing in the photo.

Now, let me ask...

Was that sold, gifted, or given to you as a gimmick?

Or did you "make" it yourself?

From what I can tell, it looks like the outer ring of a 1 Euro coin and a 1-cent coin, is that right?

It's not just the outer ring of a euro coin with its inner slug; I actually made this myself. I was wondering if there are any good, well-known tricks that use something like it.
