Deck Recommendation
Do you think a Monarch deck would be good for card magic at a beginner to intermediate level (even if I haven't perfectly mastered some forces or things like that)?
Thanks!

Price aside, Monarchs aren't exactly cheap, and if you're constantly replacing decks, that's going to add up quickly. I don't think using them as a beginner, instead of a more standard deck, will really make a difference. However, if you plan to pursue magic professionally, they could become a distinctive mark, and starting with them from the get-go could help build your personal brand. Otherwise, if you're comfortable with them, then go for it.
If you're just starting out, play it safe and grab some standard or Rider Back (Bicycle) decks. They can take a beating and won't wear out, even with heavy use. They're excellent quality and super affordable.
I've had Bicycle cards for a year or two now (I started with those), but both the deck and the box are starting to show some wear.
