My David Copperfield Show Review in Las Vegas 🃏
On March 21st, for my birthday, I had the amazing chance to see David Copperfield! I got incredibly lucky too. Even though my dad and I were seated way in the back of the theater (it wasn't huge, thankfully), the show wasn't sold out. Before it started, one of the staff members, who was helping move people from the back to empty seats up front, moved my dad and me to the first row! I told her I was into magic and wanted to be a professional magician, and she asked if I wanted front-row seats. I said yes immediately!
Once we were there, I literally couldn't believe it. I was totally geeking out because I could practically touch the stage, and Copperfield was right next to me!
The show itself was pretty mind-blowing. At its core, it's a grand illusion spectacular where David tells his life story, and all sorts of 'paranormal' events happen as the narrative unfolds. We're talking about him producing a flying UFO and even a T-Rex right there on stage!
Honestly, as a magician, I quickly noticed that Copperfield himself barely did anything. He had a whole crew of assistants who did EVERYTHING for him, and he relied on tons of super expensive props and machinery that made his job a lot easier. Plus, a lot of stuff was pre-set before the show, like a stooge who helped sell the illusion of time travel, etc.
And since we were right in the side seats, I even caught glimpses of him getting into position for some of the vanishes…
But overall, it was still incredibly impressive, and honestly, you can't really ask for more, especially considering Copperfield is 67 years old!!
It's a super highly recommended and incredible experience if you ever get the chance to see it.
Let me know if any of you have had the chance to see it and what you thought!
May the magic be with you.

Hey!
Congrats on that incredible experience, you must've had an amazing time!
I was lucky enough to see him back in 1998 in Barcelona.
Ever since I was a kid, we'd watch him on TV, and I was dying to perform effects like his. My parents always told me that if I found out the secrets, I'd lose the wonder 🙄. Too bad they were wrong about that...
I was lucky enough to be chosen for the final act, where they'd lift us onto a platform and we'd eventually vanish.
Even being part of the effect, I still don't know how he pulled it off, haha.
The best part was that after we were ushered into a room backstage, Copperfield came by, and I got to chat with him for a bit.
To me, David doesn't just perform magic; he creates stories.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
First off, welcome to this amazing magic community!
Secondly, I just wanted to say what incredible luck you had to be able to chat with him and even be chosen by him.
Now that's lucky!
I'm glad you shared your story as well.
Thanks a bunch, and…
May the magic be with you! 🎩
