Daniel Collado's Fork Bending Routine
Hey everyone!!!
I've been practicing Daniel Collado's fork bending routine for weeks.
I even bought the Arbey Forks he sells and his DVD "Tenedores entre comillas" where he explains the whole thing in detail.
Well, I've practically got the technique down, aside from, of course, needing a ton more practice, and especially the misdirection, which is 95% of this routine.
The problem I'm having is with bending "the nut" (I've attached a photo showing the bend).
Basically, I just don't have the strength, and my fingers are killing me. I know his method (which I hope some of you are familiar with) is really good, but I'm really struggling with it, and I don't feel like I can perform it in front of someone without them catching on.
I'm posting here in case any of you have mastered this routine and can think of anything that might help me out.
Thanks in advance, Cheers!!!

Hey there, I'm not sure how Daniel Collado does it, but I know Anthony Blake's method, and if it's not the same, it's probably very similar. The idea is that when you make the spoon, fork, or whatever prop you're using, appear to straighten, do it on a diagonal. If that's already your approach, grab some cheap forks from a discount store to practice and build up your hand and finger strength. Then, you can move up to better quality props once it doesn't take as much effort.
Hope this helps!
