Name of the Trick?
Hey everyone! Magician Torres came to my school this morning and performed a bunch of tricks (some really cool ones!). There's one in particular I'd love to know the name of and how it's done. It's an effect where you pick two volunteers and make them believe they're in separate 'rooms' or somehow connected, and they 'crank up their sensitivity dial' to max (that's the patter). Then he tells them that whenever they feel a touch, they should raise an arm. He only touches one volunteer several times, and she raises her left arm each time. But the other volunteer, who wasn't actually touched, also raises their arm at the exact same time, matching the first volunteer's actions every time the magician makes a touch.
Does anyone know what that trick is called?
And then he also does that thing where he says 'I touched you, how many times, where...' But he doesn't even get close to her (though I already have a pretty good idea how that one works).
