Coin Magic Trick
Hey everyone! I'm from Pamplona, and during San Fermín, there are magicians performing in the restaurants. Yesterday, I went to one, and the effect was this: He asked me for a coin, and I gave him a 20-cent piece. He asked me to sign it, then mysteriously bent it. He did some kind of sleight of hand and claimed he did it with his mind, but I think that's just a bit of showmanship. Does anyone know how he might have done this? I'm sending a picture so you can see it.

Here's a solution for you, but it's more of a visual riddle.
First image plus the second image.
Exactly!!!.
Must've been a robot that copied the signature, huh? Haha.
Sorry, Zeta, but I'm not quite following the explanation. If you know, could you break down how the trick actually works? I think it has the potential to be a really strong piece of magic, and if it's being done in a restaurant—which isn't usually a high-tech setup—it probably doesn't rely on anything too complicated.
Seriously, what's the deal with the world these days...
It's clear that people are doing less, thinking less, and just want everything handed to them.
To sum it up:
What's 1 + 1?
- Ugh, too lazy to think... Can you just tell me???
But seriously... Are you really not putting it together?? 🙄 🙄 🙄
A picture of a Sharpie marker, plus a picture of one of the most recognized characters on Earth, Bender.
Sharpie + Bender
Search "Sharpie Bender" on Google and that's it.
It's a gimmick for bending coins, plain and simple.
@Zeta:
Thanks, I just wasn't familiar with the Benders. No need to get like that.
Okay, okay, my apologies, I really don't mean to annoy or offend.
But the clues were way too easy to follow.
On the other hand, these days, with all the tools we have, not recognizing the image means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
But hey, I guess the more technology advances, the less people actually research.
By the way, there are other gimmicks for doing the same thing: bending coins.
If you just search Google for "coin bending magic",
you'll find gimmicks related to the topic.
It's that easy, that simple.
Best regards and happy magic!
I thought that since he was a "bender" (not like a voice actor, but literally bending cards), it was a joke about his profession, and the marker was for signing it, hahahaha.
