A magician buddy of mine showed me this killer trick where the spectator picks a card and signs it. Then the magician takes another card and places it between the spectator's hands. He burns a corner of the signed card. Then, when the spectator opens their hands, the card they're holding has the burnt corner. Next, he burns the back of the card, and when the spectator looks at the card in their hands again, it has a burnt back. Finally, the magician tears the card, and the spectator's card is torn in the exact same spot.

The problem is he didn't tell me the name of the effect, so I can't look it up to learn it. If anyone knows what it's called, it would be a huge help.
