How to Translate Magic Video Content to Spanish using YouTube
Hey everyone, I'm sharing a method that will allow you to translate all your purchased magic trick video tutorials, as well as any video content you have about the world of magic, from any language to Spanish, or vice-versa. This will help you expand your magic knowledge by breaking down the language barrier. To do this, you'll need to create a YouTube account, and from there, simply start uploading your content. IMPORTANT It's recommended to mark content as not suitable for children, and MANDATORY to always set it as PRIVATE content, meaning only you will be able to view it. Once you finish the upload process, hours later, automatic translation of the content will be applied to the language you select in the video's translation options within YouTube. AND IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE SUBTITLE DISPLAY IS ACTIVATED. STEPS TO UPLOAD VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 STEP 4 STEPS TO CHANGE YOUTUBE VIDEO SUBTITLE LANGUAGE STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 Hope this helps you expand your magic knowledge, as well as understand your magic tutorials.

Script for a Magic Show
Hey everyone! I'd like to share the concept I built my show's script around, which I've been performing since the beginning of the year... Just in case it helps anyone or they can improve upon it. Haha! The audience really connects with this concept (from what I can tell) because it doesn't fully develop until the very end. It's one of those ideas that really touches people's hearts and gets them emotional 😂😂😂 Developing my show took a lot of work, and I'm sharing it in case it helps you all. 😊👍 My show is called: "The Magic of the Impossible" I start with a rope routine set to music. After that, I link it to the idea that only magic can truly perform miracles like the one they just witnessed... I then begin asking the audience what *they* understand "MAGIC" to be... They start giving me definitions, and I conclude that *my* definition is: "Magic is like a dream that allows us to make the impossible, possible." I keep performing effects, each with its own little introduction, but all of them highlighting their impossibility (I perform mentalism effects and say things like: "Your eyes have already seen that it was possible; don't think about it too much because there's no explanation."... I conclude with an effect that I find incredibly impactful and impossible, and in my final patter, I link it to the following: "Tonight you've witnessed a series of seemingly impossible miracles come true just inches from you. This wasn't a dream, but true Magic, and it's only achieved through Hard Work, Effort, and Perseverance... That's why you should never let anyone tell you your dreams are impossible, because the only thing you need to make them a reality is Hard Work, Effort, and a lot of Perseverance to never give up. That way, no dream will ever be impossible. Fight for your dreams, make them happen!!" And with that, I conclude and close out the show. Haha! I've briefly outlined the highlights, the core idea that everything revolves around... A few weeks ago, I was asked to perform an effect for an educational awards ceremony, and I was surprised at how easily I could adapt this same idea (the moral) into a script related to education. I only changed a few small things, but kept that same underlying message: everyone must fight for their dreams and never let anyone tell them they're impossible, understanding that every dream requires sacrifice and you have to work for it... This idea can be adapted to any theme and would allow for real-life examples, even telling stories of real people. Who would have dreamed of iron machines flying through the air, or that we would land on the Moon, or that we would have super-intelligent machines that would make everything easier? These are all examples of things that were considered impossible not long ago. Haha!

Never Keep Your Phone in Your Back Pocket - My Three Kings' Day Mishap
Well, that's just how it goes. I just wanted to share. I NEVER carry my phone in my back pocket, but yesterday, because I had too much stuff in my front pockets, I slipped it into that darn pocket for a moment. And, surprise!!!, out on the street, I slipped ( I've never slipped like that in my life ) and landed flat on my butt. I didn't get hurt at all, but.... That's life. TIP: Don't put your phones in your back pockets 😊 Happy Three Kings' Day!!!

Magic's Ethical & Legal Boundaries - My Personal Take
I think this is a topic worth considering. Just as every magician is a liar ( they lie for their art ), where do we draw the line between deception and using methods that cross ethical or legal boundaries? The first example that comes to mind is a trick I've actually shared myself: Countries like the United States and Australia have severe penalties for defacing or damaging currency. Right off the bat, according to European law ( regarding the euro ), "Member States must not prohibit or penalize the complete destruction of small quantities of euro coins or banknotes when it occurs privately. However, they must prohibit the unauthorized destruction of large quantities of euro coins or banknotes. The penal code doesn't specify any law on this, but it's important to remember that if someone tears or burns a banknote, they're destroying a public asset. Currency is issued by the Bank of Spain, and the paper it's printed on is funded by public money. In other words, as strange as it might seem, the money isn't really *ours* , even if we've earned it. The European Union classifies as a crime "the counterfeiting or fraudulent alteration of currency in any form." Furthermore, all currency deemed unfit for circulation must be surrendered to the national authority." Information sourced from ---> The point is, taken to its absurd extreme, in a coin trick you could theoretically be accused of damaging a public asset. It sounds absurd, and it's probably not worth losing sleep over, but there's a legal basis for it to happen. On the other hand, the law is very specific: "The European Union classifies as a crime "the counterfeiting or fraudulent alteration of currency in any form" .... It doesn't say: "The European Union classifies as a crime "the counterfeiting or fraudulent alteration of currency in any form, unless you're doing magic, in which case it's fine " This would imply that the "freedom" many magic tricks rely on—like using fake bills to create gimmicks, or even tearing and restoring them—could, absurdly, be considered illegal. And the same goes for all sorts of gimmicked coins. Fortunately, how things are used really matters , but even then, it's still a bit of a tightrope walk. Which brings me to current times: technology. Obviously, advancements in all fields of science have always been used to help magic evolve and adapt with the times. But some things can push certain ethical and legal boundaries, such as personal private property. And while the impact of an effect often relies on the cleverness of the method, that method itself needs to uphold certain ethical and legal values. For example: If by some chance you got access to a stranger's phone and could read all their messages, you'd quickly learn a lot about their life. If you then presented yourself to that person as a psychic or mentalist and started revealing things you'd learned from reading their texts, it's clear they'd believe you possessed some kind of magical power. As an effect, it would definitely kill, but the method is completely illegal and unethical. So, where do we draw the line? I love technology; it's right up my alley. But how far can it be used as a justification for a good effect? I could talk more about this topic ( I'd call it "questionable ways—ethically and legally—to perform magic" ) but I'll get straight to the point. There's a device called the flipperzero , which could totally be used to "do magic." Can you imagine opening and closing anyone's car? You could do it. How about opening and closing the gate to any parking garage or any garage door? Yep, that too, and so on and so forth... For magic, is *anything* fair game?. I suppose it all comes down to how things are used . On these topics, I'm the first to say everything is relative, and I usually give a very simple example: We all have knives at home. We use them for multiple purposes, they live in their drawer, we use them, wash them, and they go right back. Even though some people in society use them for bad things, we don't ban them, because we know that the way they're used determines the difference between legal and illegal. The reality is, I'm not really here to clarify anything; if anything, I might be muddying the waters even more. I think technology is amazing, but it can definitely be a double-edged sword. Obviously, magic is about creating illusions, and the goal is to achieve that sense of wonder in the audience—which, for a magician, is truly their lifeblood. But I still find myself wondering where the limits are to achieve that. I'll stop rambling now and leave the topic open in case anyone else wants to chime in or share their thoughts. All opinions are welcome, especially constructive criticism if it sparks a good debate 😊. All the best, think about what I've shared, and keep the magic alive!!!

Looking for Magic Prank Ideas
Hey everyone! This might be a bit of a long post, but I need to give some background. I'm a young guy who, besides being passionate about magic, works at summer camps. At the camps, there's always a surprise "horror night" where we play scary-themed games to give everyone a fright (in moderation, of course) and have a unique and fun time. Usually, only the counselors know which night it is, to keep it a surprise for the campers. And that same day, we start playing little pranks to set the mood and get them "spooked." For instance, if the theme is zombies, some counselors might pretend to feel sick and cough up fake blood... Things like that, so the campers get scared but then understand by nightfall that it was all part of a game. This year, those of us organizing the night want to pull these pranks on our fellow counselors too, and I thought I might be able to use my magic skills for it. The theme is "ghosts," so any kind of effect that seems paranormal would work for me. This is pretty far out of my comfort zone since my magic repertoire is mostly close-up magic, focusing on cards and Rubik's Cubes. I have some flash paper and invisible thread that someone gave me once, but I've never actually used them. Maybe they could give me an idea for making something float in the dining hall... or using fire to startle someone without anything actually getting burned... So, in a nutshell, I'm posting because I'm running low on ideas and wanted to tap into the collective brainpower of fellow magicians for this situation. It's not about putting on a magic show, but rather applying the methods we know to spontaneous situations where people aren't expecting anything magical to happen. Thanks for reading, and I appreciate all the help! 😊

When Do You Become a Magician?
Quick question: when does someone go from just doing tricks to being a real magician, whether amateur or professional? Because it's not the same as someone who does the detached thumb trick versus a more sophisticated effect, with cards or gimmicks. I'm not sure if I should start calling myself a magician yet, Does it have something to do with the audience or the tricks? Thanks

Club Members!
Hey, I had a question about the groups. When I open them, I see one called 'alumnos' and it says 'closed.' If it's closed, does that mean I can't join? I've had all the courses for a while now, and I figured I'd be in that group. But seeing it's marked 'closed,' I wanted to know what I can do.

Almost Everything is Magic... But Not Always
Just wanted to mention that not everything in life is magic ( at least for me ). And sometimes there's magic, and other times there are other things. This time, I've jumped back into ( among the many games I play ) my " X4 Foundations ", and its latest DLC, " Timelines ". It's pretty awesome how, these days, games you started playing years ago and then put aside keep getting new updates; it makes returning to them after some time really gratifying, discovering all the new mechanics they've added. A few months ago I'd already revisited " No Man's Sky ", which nowadays actually delivers on what they promised at launch ( about 10 years ago ). Anyway, I'm gonna get back to building space stations and kicking the butts of all those damn Xenon ( the Kha'ak too ). And that's all for now. 😊 Have a great day!!!

🎩✨ Hey everyone in this amazing community! ✨🎩 I know this isn't directly related to magic, but I'd like to ask for a small favor from the bottom of my heart. I'm a regular user of this community (though I created a separate account for this — I know it's not allowed, and I apologize for that — but I wanted to try just in case). My name is [your name if you want to put it], I'm 16 years old, and for the past two years, I've been working hard to get my small business off the ground: Shop Edition Company , a video editing and digital creativity project. It's been a tough road, and even though I'm putting in a ton of effort, I'm still struggling to gain clients and visibility. That's why I'm reaching out to you all, even though I know this isn't the most appropriate place. If any of you could share it, post about it, or just take a look at what I do, I would be eternally grateful. Every little bit helps someone who's just trying to start something great from scratch. Sucker Punch Poker Chip Care
Hey everyone, I've noticed that after using the Sucker Punch chips for a few hours, it gets harder to control their handling (specifically, separating the gaffed ones and getting them to return precisely into place). Could anyone tell me if they need any kind of cleaning, maintenance, or anything else to keep them performing like new? Thanks a lot, Xabi

My Neglected Social Media Accounts
Hey everyone, morning, noon, or night... I've had two social media accounts that I set up quite a while ago, hoping to upload magic content, but the thing is, I have no idea what to post there. Several friends (non-magicians) have already told me to upload something to get more exposure or so people can see my work, but I'm really stumped on what kind of content I can actually put out...

It's not just for the magic he performs (and that's great too), but for everything he talks about.
