Bloom Flourish

Greetings to the entire magic community!

I'm having a bit of trouble with the Bloom.

I'm finding that when I get to the point where I'm supposed to release pressure so the two packets open,

they fall short and only open a tiny bit, even when I completely release the pressure. Does anyone have any advice on how to get them to open fully? Thanks.
