Online piracy is the practice of copying, selling, reproducing, or distributing content or products without the authorization of the copyright holders, exploitation rights holders, or owners.
This can be for money or for free.
In any case, piracy in Spain and other countries is considered a crime, both for those who copy and distribute pirated products or content and for those who sell them.

I'm not sure how the person who shared it with me obtained it.
Even if it was purchased/paid for, it's still illegal to distribute or share it.
It's the same with a movie you buy on DVD (even if it seems ridiculous, that's how it is)..., legally you can't lend it to anyone to watch, not even a family member.
@paumedvaz:
I don't think so because of piracy, or at least not sharing them publicly; privately, I don't think they'd say anything.

I'm not sure how the person who shared it with me got it. Personally, I don't consume pirated material, and I actually prefer physical copies. I usually buy books to support the authors.

I won't be sharing anything I've purchased or that was gifted to me.
Thanks for your time, Zeta
I don't think so, probably because of piracy issues. Or at least, don't share them publicly. I doubt anyone would care if you shared them privately.
Thanks for your reply, Pau.
