Hey everyone.

I decided to share some info about this festival because I don't think it's been discussed in the club.

It features various magic shows spread throughout the park that you can go and check out.

Before I get to the current edition, I'll talk a bit about the previous ones.

The Parque de Atracciones de Madrid Magic Festival debuted in 2022, where for two days in May (May 1st and 2nd, if I remember correctly) magic filled the park.

The first edition featured Patri Zenner, Héctor Sansegundo, Víctor Cerro, and Sasha the magician. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend this one in person, but I did watch their videos, which I think are available on YouTube.

For the second edition, the shows were revamped and expanded. It also ran for more days, from April 22nd to May 7th. The magicians who performed were Cliff The Magician, Víctor Cerro, Héctor Sansegundo, Dania Díaz, Lebart, and Jorge Blass.

This edition was amazing, and I think it's the best one so far (among the few they've had 😅)

Héctor Sansegundo's show, in particular, really blew me away.

And now we come to the third edition, which runs until May 26th. This one features Patri Zenner, Francis Zafrilla, Jean Philippe, Bruno Tarnecci, and Raúl Alegría.

I've enjoyed this edition even more because at the street shows, you could chat with the magicians afterward and take a picture, and of course, I took advantage of that!

I don't want to give away too much more because I'd rather you experience it yourselves, since you can both watch the shows and enjoy the rides.

I just hope these festivals continue for many more years, as they're incredible and bring magic closer to people who leave the shows wanting to see more.

I think I've gone on a bit long, sorry 😅, but I believe it's interesting since it's not a widely known event.

Cheers everyone 🪄

Honestly, they don't advertise much for what's a really cool event. I think if they advertised more, a lot more people would show up, and it would be more profitable for them, but I don't know.

UPDATE:

Since Raúl Alegría was at the World Championship in Italy this past weekend (and he placed third, by the way!), his show was swapped out for one by Los Taps.

I was surprised, as it was pretty entertaining, but I still prefer Francis Zafrilla's and Bruno Tarnecci's. I also want to give a shout-out to Jean Philippe because his show felt really original with its fusion of magic and balloons.

If anyone else saw it, I'd love to hear what you thought 😉.

Have a great week.
