Hey everyone!

From May 1st to 4th, and then on Saturdays and Sundays until May 18th, you can enjoy the 4th Magic Festival at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid. Personally, it's a festival I really enjoy because it's what got me into magic and started me on my path to becoming a magician, so it's very special to me.

You can check out previous editions of the festival in various YouTube videos and in another thread I created in this very Club.

This year features an incredibly interesting lineup with shows by David Navares, Karim, Shado, Karlus Soler, and Carlos Adriano. Plus, there's a big magic gala (Shado and Karim seem to be alternating, so if one is there, the other probably won't be that day – be sure to check the show schedules!).

There's also a gala at the auditorium theater featuring Inmagic, Mad Edgard, and Andy González. And it will be hosted by Luis Larrodera.

I encourage everyone who can make it to go, because it's a day you'll spend watching shows by some amazing magicians. Plus, usually at the street shows, you can often chat with them afterward.

Finally, this year I believe they've added a Magic School, where I assume they'll teach a couple of tricks to the kids. So if any of you have kids you want to get hooked on this art and eventually pass down all your materials and books to, you should bring them along, LOL.

Magical regards,

Hey!

I was there the other day, and honestly, it was fantastic.

Unfortunately, Karim wasn't performing that day – I was really looking forward to seeing him; it's been years since I last did. Navares is brilliant, a true stage animal; you can tell he's got that street cred. Adriano was great too, really focused on the kids, super funny, absolutely hilarious. Shado was excellent as well, even though the audience was a bit subdued at first. He did some mentalism, obviously pickpocketing, and finished with a PK touch routine and similar effects. Kalus Soler was also original, really unique; my kids loved him the most. Andy was excellent, Larrodera was hilarious – the guy's a genius! And Mad Edgard absolutely blew me away, an incredible mix of grand illusions and fantasy, truly mind-blowing.

Oh, no way, I was just there too! What a coincidence. Yeah, I totally agree with everything you said. It was a good one! 😊

Cheers.
