Your Eyes Give You Away
This is a recommendation for when you're performing magic, focusing on connecting with your audience rather than just your techniques. When you're doing a card force, a false shuffle, divining a card, or performing any type of move, don't just fixate your gaze on the cards. Your eyes can give you away, and the audience will follow your eyes. Being a magician is all about guiding attention and giving subtle cues for the magic to happen. Mariana directs people's attention, so try to make eye contact with your audience when you're performing. It's happened to me that I've divined a spectator's card, and my eyes gave away my surprise, blowing my cover.

When I adapt tricks for one hand, I have to use my whole body to help, and it's essential to misdirect the audience so they don't catch certain techniques, as they're often easier to spot.
It's always important to remember that a large or exaggerated movement hides a small one; for me, that's crucial and always works.
