Digital Force Bag Question

Hey everyone, the other day I came across an effect where, after making a prediction, the spectator names a number. The magician then pulls up the notes app on their phone, and there's a numbered list. What's written at the chosen number matches the prediction.

I'd love to know what the effect is called, and if anyone knows where I can buy it, or if it's a freebie.

Hey Hugo, I'm changing the title of this post so we're clear on what we're discussing.

The app you're looking for is called Digital Force Bag, or DFB. It's by Nick Einhorn, and I can tell you, it's absolutely brilliant. Even though it's in English, you can translate it to Spanish, create your own lists, modify existing ones, etc. It's incredibly versatile.

It's a paid app, but you might be able to find a trial version out there (wink, wink).

If you plan to use it, be prepared to spend a day or two building lists, translating, etc. It's not a simple download-and-perform solution for a live audience. I recommend watching plenty of videos on how it's used before you start messing around with it.

It's an app you can use for a simple routine (like the one you described in your post), or, AND THIS IS WHAT I RECOMMEND, you can use it as a force for anything you want, combined with decks, an Invisible Deck, objects... whatever you like. This way, absolutely no one will suspect you've used your phone to force something.

Craig Petty has several effects where he combines DFB with an Invisible Deck, a Svengali deck, coins, etc., to force whatever he needs. Over the past couple of years, he's been releasing new routines that you can find in his Vanishing masterclasses, his latest Penguin lecture, or here:

Hope this helps! All the best,

The Wild Card routine, the one where the cards change identity — how's that done?

Hello. My name is Bonifacio García.

I recently purchased the Digital Force Bag and I haven't been able to locate the manual in Spanish, or even in French.

Could you please tell me where I can find it?

My email is: [email protected].

Thanks in advance.

Hey, I'm not sure if you're still around, but could you tell me where I can get the "trial version"? Please.

Do you know where to find that trial version ;)? I've been looking for it but haven't been able to track it down.

Thanks a lot for all the info! I can tell this is a really worthwhile trick, and I'll definitely be using this a ton.

Obviously, I knew the number in advance. I haven't quite mastered divining phone numbers... yet 😉

I heard there's a way to do the effect without the app... Do you know where I can learn it, or if you already know the method?

I need the manual in Spanish, or at least in French. I haven't received it. Thanks.

Now that I have it, I don't think it comes with a Spanish tutorial, only an English one.
