Introducing Myself

Hey everyone! My name is Jose Manuel, and I'm from Madrid. My first dabblings in magic go way, way back to when I saw a book at my grandpa's house called *The Expert at the Card Table* (Erdnase). I'd go up to the attic and read it day after day. After that, I started a serialized course by Tamariz, but then, you know, life happened, and I put it aside.

Not long ago, my Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and I thought I'd try to make her laugh. So I did a trick for her and saw that SURPRISE and SMILE on her face again. Since then, I've picked magic back up, and here I am again. Thanks a lot for bearing with my long story, and I hope we all enjoy this wonderful... hobby, therapy... I don't know, I prefer not to label it; everyone experiences something different. Cheers, everyone!
