Hopping Half Help

Hey everyone, yesterday I bought a street magic kit, and when I opened the Hopping Half, a coin that was a bit loose fell out. Now the shell is stuck on the two-colored coin and I can't get it out.

I've tried what's explained in the course to fix it (twisting it to expand the shell a bit), but I can't get it out.

I don't know if anyone knows how to fix it, as I practically haven't even had a chance to use it yet. Any help is appreciated.
