Can anyone share a force I could use with colored paper balls?

Hey @samuraf4,

Since I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to or the specific concept you're talking about, for me, the most logical and simplest way to Force objects—or, in your case, colored balls and a specific color—would be a Change Bag.

This is for a trick where, by forcing the colored balls, you already know which color each person has, right? Then, you take four decks, each with a different colored card on the very bottom. You hand the deck with the forced color to each of the four people. You have them cut the deck. You then complete the cut, making sure the colored card (which was originally on the bottom of the deck) ends up directly on top of the card they cut to. Finally, when you gather all the decks, each selected card will be found directly under its corresponding colored card.

@samuraf4:

Mmmmmm, and why does it have to be 4 spectators? Isn't one enough for you?

@samuraf4:

So you take 4 decks, each with a different colored card on the very bottom, and you give the deck with the forced color to each of the 4 people. You have them cut, and then you place the packet with the colored card on top of where they cut. Then you gather all the decks together, and each chosen card will be directly behind its corresponding colored card.

Let's break it down: if it were 1 spectator with one deck (blue or red back) and a card on the bottom — the one you use as a Key Card with a different colored back... I'd buy that.

But 4 colors and 4 decks seems excessive to me (this is my point of view and opinion, not the absolute truth, okay? 😊)

I don't think it's very sustainable to do the same "Force" with 4 decks all at once.

Doing it with just 1 deck is already pretty conspicuous without a beat for them to forget, and with 4, I guarantee someone will pick up on the detail of simply cutting and squaring on the selected card.

I can't quite visualize it, but if you've already got it working, I'd love for you to show it to us.

As always, it's just my opinion, one of many, and we all think differently.

So I hope you achieve your goals, and that someone else can help you, since I haven't been of much help.

All the best and keep the magic going!!!

it was meant for Got Talent

I think Román García has already done something similar in the Got Talent semifinals.

Hey there. A force I often use involves telling the spectator we need to keep one item and discard another. To execute it, I simply say: 'Point to one.' If they point to the item I want to force, I say, 'Great, we'll keep this one.' If they point to the non-forced item, I say, 'Okay, we'll discard this one.' This works because you offer two seemingly contradictory outcomes at the same time, allowing you to choose the one that facilitates the force. For more than two objects, you can successively divide them into two groups, adjusting the phrasing of the contradictory conditions.
