A chosen image matches an earlier photograph

The participant finds your Instagram profile on their phone. You photograph an image as a prediction with your own phone, without showing the result yet. The participant then appears to scroll freely through your posts and stop on one. The earlier photograph matches it.

Julio Montoro explains the handling with a borrowed phone. The recording does not contain a separate audience performance; it walks through the presentation and then teaches preparation and actions.

Requirements and feature dependency

You need your phone for the photograph and the participant's phone accessing their Instagram account and your profile. The method uses your posts and a collection made in Saved during the handling, not a commercial magic app or special accessory.

It depends on the recorded behaviour of Saved: reaching the end of a limited image selection while apparently browsing the full profile. Julio explicitly warns that Instagram may change or remove features. Before performing, verify that the actions and scrolling endpoint still work in your intended version. The lesson documents an interface handling, not a guarantee about current versions or every phone.

Preparing the choice during presentation

The tutorial selects five posts while apparently looking for the prediction image, arranges them into a collection and opens the image for the final match. Julio demonstrates slowly and stresses practice to integrate the steps into the initial search.

No collection has to exist on the borrowed phone beforehand, but the performer must create it while holding the device. The participant then holds the phone without viewing the chosen image while the performer takes the prediction photograph with the second phone.

Apparent browsing and returning to the profile

The explanation covers transitioning from the collection to an apparent post-browsing view, the displayed interface information and attention to images. It does not promise every interface clue disappears.

The recorded scrolling action ends at the intended image. Julio shows leaving that view and returning to the profile before handing back the phone and checking the photograph.

Posts are saved and a collection is created in the account used; example likes are also shown. Returning to the profile does not erase saved material. The later trace is discussed, not automatically cleaned up, and the account is not left wholly unmodified.

Scope and practice

This is image mentalism with two phones, not card handling. Rehearse navigation, collection creation, screen display or cover and continuous instructions. Practical use depends on verifying the Saved behaviour supporting the method and clearly managing the actions on the borrowed phone.
