Deck vanish with a gimmick tuck case
What appears to be a deck inside its box is placed into a sleeve and vanishes. Julio Ribera performs the routine and explains the gimmick that makes this illusion possible.
The setup uses a card to build a brief divination interaction. Two possible spectator responses are discussed along with how to continue the patter in each case, without necessarily depending on a miss.
The handling examines the orientation of the props, the sides that must remain covered, and inserting them into the sleeve. Moves that could shift the pieces and compromise the effect are also pointed out. The reverse possibility of producing the tuck case is shown as another application of the same device.
You will need the deck vanish prop, consisting of the gimmick tuck case and the compatible sleeve, plus a card. You can look for it at your favorite magic shop. This is not about vanishing a complete ordinary deck with any random sleeve.
The explanation distinguishes the moments when the sleeve can be checked from the orientation required for the rest of the set. It does not promise a free examination of all components.
