The Queen of Hearts is often the favorite card among female spectators. For men, it's usually a Spade card; from personal experience, it's often the King of Spades or the Ace of Spades.
If you ask them for a random card, they tend to think of an "unusual" card that the magician couldn't possibly know. In those cases, they often go for the Clubs suit, especially the 7 of Clubs.

Indeed, the Queen of Hearts and the 7 of Spades are often chosen.
I think spades are really iconic, especially the face cards.
Hey @humbert, besides any 7 (especially the Seven of Hearts), in my personal experience, I think the Queen of Hearts is the most frequently chosen card.
@Andreuchi, I'd say that Spades come in second on the list.
Anyway, that's just my opinion based on my own experience.
