Decks: Paper or Plastic?
I've recently started with card magic. Right now, I'm using a Spanish deck for practice and a cheap American deck for performing. The problem is that both are paper decks, and the corners are starting to peel. I'd love to hear from someone who's tried both types and get their personal opinion and experience. If possible, could you answer my main questions: What are the best applications for each type? Any specific brands you'd recommend?
Thanks :)

First off, @K_Pizarro.M, welcome to the club (and for your first post).

To start, for practicing and really getting those reps in, they'll work just fine.
But as soon as you can, grab yourself some Bicycle Standards; compared to what you're using now, you'll be thrilled with them.

While it's true that @KASHOGGI sent you a link about plastic decks, which I find interesting and use myself, I wouldn't recommend that link specifically if you're just starting out.
In my case, my experience with decks is briefly discussed here:

Additionally, on the forum, there's another post on the topic where more people share their opinions.

I hope you find this info helpful.
All the best, and happy magic!!!
Thanks a ton for your recommendations! Once I get a bit more comfortable, I'll definitely pick up some Bicycle Standard decks. Really appreciate the amazing support! 🤙

Hey, here's a post by @Zeta that explains everything in great detail. Hope this helps!
That link goes to the last post because I messed up, but all the info is in that same conversation.
