Instant cube solve: setup and false shuffle
Inmagic teaches an effect in which an apparently mixed cube is solved in one quick, continuous movement. The method starts from a prepared cube: it is not a system for solving any cube scramble. The lesson separates the setup, visual solve and an optional false shuffle that reinforces the impression of disorder.
The setup consists of four moves. Inmagic offers a starting orientation with the white face towards her and the blue face on top, and explains the actions slowly. To produce the change, the setup is reversed, coordinating the turns so that the solve forms a single fluid sequence without pauses between actions.
The false shuffle is demonstrated with the cube solved to make it easier to follow. It consists of a sequence repeated twice, also shown in slow motion. In performance, it is done after preparing the cube and must leave it in the same starting position, ready for the change. The explanation distinguishes these two moments to avoid practising the shuffle from the wrong position.
You need a Rubik’s Cube; Inmagic recommends a speed cube, or SpeedCube, because it makes turning easier and reduces locking. You do not need to master a general solving method. You should practise the orientation, memorise the sequence and replay the video slowly until you can link the moves naturally. The lesson includes the setup, change and false shuffle.
