Kursy, książki...?
Cześć wszystkim,
Kilka miesięcy temu zacząłem swoją przygodę ze sztuką iluzji, a konkretnie z karcianką. Zaopatrzyłem się w biblię każdego karcianiaka („Cartomagia fundamental” Vicente Canuto) i zacząłem ćwiczyć, czytając i analizując w kółko pierwsze rozdziały (z ich automatycznymi i półautomatycznymi sztuczkami). Kilka dni temu wykupiłem kurs od dość znanego magika z TikToka (nie wiem, czy wypada wymieniać nazwiska, więc na wszelki wypadek daruję sobie). Kurs jest w porządku, naprawdę. Jednak ja szukam czegoś więcej w kwestii teorii (techniki, manipulacje, itp.).
I tutaj pojawia się moje pytanie, liczę na Waszą magiczną radę: jakie kroki powinienem podjąć, aby dalej rozwijać się w magii i uniknąć stagnacji?
Na YouTube są tysiące poradników i efektów, jest też sporo książek...

The general problem EVERYONE faces when they start out (and not just when they're starting, it happens anytime) in this is:
BITING OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW.
That "unhealthy" urge to keep learning more and more without truly internalizing what you've already picked up is the real problem that leads to "getting stuck."
You mentioned you got your hands on Cartomagia fundamental, okay?
Did you read it and re-read it, say, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc., times??
After several readings (we're talking months here), did you follow it up with this?

Honestly, with just that book and those supplementary materials, anyone could become a professional magician and make a living from it.
You don't need more information until you've fully absorbed what you already have.
Our eagerness (and that crazy little imp in our heads) to know everything is almost always what ruins the experience of truly learning things and not focusing enough on what we already have at hand. To the point where we have pure gold right in front of us and don't even realize it because we're still chasing after the "perfect effect" (even if we already have 20 great ones).
This is all just my opinion, of course, but I advise you to focus on what you already have... because it's way more than what even very famous magicians had back in their day.
P.S.: I know several magicians who have impressive libraries but have barely read a quarter of all the material they own.
