Book Test with ordinary books
Revelar una palabra pensada
The spectator chooses a book, looks at a page, and remembers a word without saying it out loud. Daniel Collado shows a routine where the revelation progresses from initial impressions to the complete word. Afterwards, he explains the procedure and the presentation choices that make the effect understandable.
Ordinary books that the audience can recognize are used. This does not mean the method allows any unprepared page: the masterclass explains the necessary preparatory work and briefly reviews the magician's choice. It also covers how to emphasize the mind reading without dwelling unnecessarily on the selection of the book or page.
Construir y confirmar la revelación
The explanation compares blurting out the word with zeroing in on it through letters or concepts. It analyzes when to write down the answer, how to show it first to the rest of the audience, and how to subsequently involve the participant in the confirmation. The goal is for everyone to understand what was decided before hearing the spectator's response.
Frequent situations are also studied: stage fright, reading difficulties, or an accidentally opened page. Collado explains how to check what is necessary before committing to the climax and how to steer the situation back on track without publicly blaming the assistant. These are concrete resources to prepare for and handle those situations.
The final part proposes other approaches: phrases, concepts, images, predictions, or memory demonstrations. They are presented as ideas to adapt the principle, rather than several independent tests developed in the same detail.
Qué necesitas
Prepare two readable books, paper or a notepad, and a marker for the written revelation. Special magic editions are not needed. It is helpful to understand the magician's choice: it is briefly reviewed here, while the greatest attention is dedicated to the instructions, pacing, and rapport with the spectator.
