Jules Control

The Old Way

Most card controls require you to hold the deck in your hands, often relying on pinky breaks or suspicious squaring actions that scream "I'm doing a move." When you handle the cards too much, spectators start watching your hands like a hawk, making it nearly impossible to get the card where you need it without being spotted.

The Better Approach

The Jules Control changes the game by keeping the action entirely on the table. Because you aren't gripping the deck, the spectator's eyes are focused on their card, not on your fingers. You use the natural movement of the spectator cutting the deck to do the work for you. It’s a subtle, hands-off approach that lets you move a chosen card to the bottom of the deck while you’re barely touching the cards at all. Once it’s there, you’re free to palm it, load it, or just let it sit while you proceed with your routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this control better than a standard pass?
It happens on the table. By removing your hands from the equation, you eliminate the suspicion that usually comes with controlling a card.

Will this work for me?
If you can handle a deck of cards, you can do this. It’s designed for real-world performance, not just for practice in front of a mirror.

Do I need a special deck?
No. This is completely impromptu and works with any standard deck of playing cards.
